v2ray or (Xray xTLS)

V2Ray is a platform for building proxies to bypass network censorship. It is designed to be fast and secure. V2Ray uses standard protocols such as SOCKS, HTTP, and Shadowsocks to protect your internet traffic. It also provides an advanced layer of encryption and obfuscation to further secure your data. V2Ray provides an efficient way to bypass restrictions and access websites blocked by your ISP or government.

Technical details:

  • Protocols: Vless, Shadowsocks, VMess
  • Encryption: AES-256-GCM
  • Obfuscation: HTTP/2, obfs4, TLS 1.3
  • Transport layer protocols: TCP | KCP | WebSocket | HTTP/2 | QUIC | gRPC
  • Security: TLS 1.3, Reality (Xtls hack), XTLS

V2ray transport layer protocols:

WS, TCP, and KCP are all transport layer protocols, which are responsible for providing the means to establish end-to-end connections and transfer data between different hosts on a network.

WS (WebSocket) is a protocol that allows for full-duplex communication between a client and a server over a single TCP connection. It is often used for real-time applications, such as online gaming, chat, and video conferencing or any other application that requires a persistent connection. It will work on layer 7 in the OSI model and depend on TCP at layer 4.

TCP (Transmission Control Protocol) is a reliable, connection-oriented protocol that is commonly used to transfer large amounts of data over the internet. It is a widely-used protocol that is often the default option for many applications and network devices.

KCP (KCP protocol) is a fast, reliable, and lossy transmission protocol that is often used in high-bandwidth and high-latency networks. It is optimized for environments with limited bandwidth and high packet loss rates, and is often used in conjunction with other proxy tools, such as Shadowsocks, to provide a more reliable connection but it's more prone to be blocked by the firewall.

HTTP/2 is a major revision of the HTTP network protocol that is used by the World Wide Web. It is designed to improve performance, security, and efficiency over the previous version, HTTP/1.1. HTTP/2 is a binary protocol that is more efficient than HTTP/1.1, which uses text-based headers. It also supports multiplexing, which allows multiple requests to be sent over a single TCP connection.

QUIC (Quick UDP Internet Connections) is a transport layer protocol developed by Google, designed to enhance the performance of web applications by reducing latency and improving connection reliability. QUIC's unique features, such as connection migration and multiplexing without head-of-line blocking, can be leveraged. These features make QUIC traffic harder to detect and block, as it doesn't rely on a fixed IP address and can maintain multiple active streams over a single connection.

gRPC is a modern, open-source, universal Remote Procedure Call (RPC) framework. It is designed to be fast, efficient, and interoperable across different platforms and languages. gRPC uses HTTP/2 for transport, Protocol Buffers as the interface description language, and provides features such as authentication, load balancing, and bidirectional streaming. This makes it a robust choice for high-performance distributed systems and microservices.

Shadowsocks

Shadowsocks is a secure socks5 proxy, designed to protect your Internet traffic. It's fast and reliable, and it's available on Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, iOS, and routers.

Technical details:

  • Cipher: AEAD
  • Protocol: TCP and UDP
  • Obfuscation: TLS 1.3, HTTP/2, obfs4

OpenVPN

OpenVPN is one of the best OpenVPN source VPN tunnels that allows you to encrypt your data securely; It's available in Windows, Linux, macOS, Android, iOS and routers.

Technical details:

Authentication: Username/password or token method3 Data channel cipher: AES-256‑CBC Control channel cipher: TLS v1.2 using Key exchange authentication/auth key: RSA key with a 4096-bit key size or RSA with a 2048 bit key. protocol: Both TCP and UDP are available, but we suggest our users use UDP as a faster protocol.

WireGuard

WireGuard is a modern and secure VPN protocol designed to be simpler than IPSec and OpenVPN. It provides a fast, secure, and reliable connection that is easy to set up and maintain. It's reliable and secure, even in high-latency and unreliable networks.

Technical details:

  • Authentication: Public Key Cryptography
  • Protocol: UDP
  • Tunneling protocol: WireGuard

Cisco Anyconnect

Cisco AnyConnect provides reliable and easy-to-deploy encrypted network connectivity, Through DTLS and TLS which allows client/server applications to communicate in a way that is designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering, or message forgery.

Technical details:

  • Tunneling using TLS and DTLS
  • Compatible with Apple iOS Connect On Demand VPN capability
  • Both IPv4 and IPv6 are supported

SSTP

SSTP is Very secure, and natively supported on Windows devices. As a result of joining the AES encryption, it’s safer than PPTP and L2TP.

IKEv2:

We provide ikev2/IPsec with strong crypto (AES-GCM, SHA2, and P-256) as one of the best VPN protocols, considerably fast and secure.

L2TP/PPTP:

PPTP and L2TP are most compatible and easy setup VPN. It's fast and stable, excellent for audio or video streaming.
